2016 Tour: Pacific Coast Rush
For 2016, THE PACIFIC COAST RUSH launches in the Wild, Wild West on Saturday, June 23. A dozen motorcycles have been shipped from all points in Florida for download in Seattle where East Coast bikers join others from Ohio, Washington State and California. This weeklong cruise runs 2000-miles from Seattle to San Francisco, with a swing out to Big Sur.
After launching the tour with a brunch cruise aboard a 78’ Ocean Alexander luxury motoryacht hosted by tour sponsors Regal Boats and Alexander Marine USA, riders will set off on a spectacular journey that includes visits to Mount Ranier and Fort Hood, with a ride along the rim of Crater Lake. The excursion embraces a series of spectacular waterfalls and then rumbles under towering Redwoods in two locations. The tour stretches along the spectacular Pacific Coast Highway with stops amid multiple iconic California towns like Eureka, Bodega Bay and Half Moon Bay.
After rolling over the Golden Gate Bridge, the tour spends a few days in the famous Monterey/Big Sur area, with a visit to the famous Hearst Castle in San Simeon. The final day runs the Santa Cruz Mountains and then back to the big city, with the final ride down the most crooked street in all of America, Lombard Street. To celebrate and toast the tour, Title Sponsor Freedom Boat Club hosts a Sunset Sailabration aboard a party-sized Adventure Cat on San Francisco Bay!
